SELECTION GUIDELINES

Member coaches of the Texas Girls Coaches Association have the privilege

of nominating an outstanding athlete to be named as Athlete of the Year in soccer.

All nomination forms must be sent to TGCA by:

~mailing to TGCA at P.O. Box 2137 , Austin, TX 78768

~faxing to TGCA at 512-708-1325

Nominees must fulfill the following requirements:

1. May be selected from any grade level from 9-12.

2. Be an outstanding athlete in her sport.

3. Demonstrate positive character traits (honesty, loyalty, leadership, cooperative

                        attitude).

One Athlete of the Year will be selected for soccer by the Executive Director and Executive Committee from a 4A-5A-6A school.
